Stitches are out!

This poor girl has been through enough painful events in her 22 months to last her a lifetime. She is going to grow up to be one tough girl!

The doctor said that it looked like she pulled out the inside stitches too early, so it healed up pretty gnarly, but the part of the cut that is on the outside of her mouth healed up great - she will hopefully just end up with a thin white scar. The hard part was just pulling out the stitches - they were completely embedded in her lip! The doctor also said that she had "beautiful, thick skin". Kinda weird, but a great doctor.

She always drops everything she's doing when she hear daddy walk through the door.

Leighton's birthday!

Leighton and my mom have the same birthday, so we went out to dinner to celebrate. The birthday boy and girl at about 20 pounds of crab legs. I don't know about my mom, but Leighton has had a serious case of crab breath ever since. Oh yeah, and we brought our good friend, Flavor Flav.

Santa

Brody just walked up to Santa and started talking to him about everything he wanted for Christmas. We could hardly interrupt him for the picture.

We had a fun Thanksgiving. We stayed in town this year, which was nice! Tons of food, tons of kids... the usual. Here is a picture of Allison and Coco. They are best friends lately. Coco follows her everywhere she goes and makes sure she is okay. The other picture is of Brody's Thanksgiving feast at school. The teacher said that he was the only one that asked for more, three times. Brody's school is having a Christmas program in a couple of weeks and Brody is going to be the Christmas tree! How funny is that!!
